On its own merit air traffic control is a profession that imbibes in its members a high degree of solidarity that is wholesomely rare, uncommon and infectious. For all these privileges, we as responsible EXCO, have always worked towards protecting these enviable legacies and in doing so strive to uphold the community spirit.
ATC Objectives

(a) between aircraft
(b) between aircraft and obstruction in the maneuvering area
- Expedite and maintain an orderly flow of traffic
- Give advice and information useful for safe and efficient conduct of flights
- Notify appropriate organisations regarding aircraft in need of SAR aid and assist such organisations as may be required.
Commitment To The ATC Profession
Opportunities exist for everyone in the industry. Air Traffic control practice in Nigeria presents challenges that is gender friendly. It is poised to eliminate the age long gender barriers that often exist in contemporary work places, especially in developing economies like ours. The growing number of female air traffic officers and cadets in the system clearly attest to this. This is a welcome development for our economic and political potentials.
NATCA & Government Promoting Professional ATC Practice
Recent government policies, programs and appointments in the aviation industry clearly demonstrate responsiveness on the part of the authorities to the problems and challenges of the industry. Given the caliber of leadership and professional managers in the Nigerian aviation industry it is hopeful soon our aviation experience will take its proper place in the international aviation community.
